It might be prudent to roughly determine if the coins are worth the effort and expense of having them graded.
Might be of some benefit for you the pick up a Red Book of US coins and start there.
This is just going off the minimal information provided in your post.
And by the way...

???? I'm at a loss. Maybe post some pictures and ask a few questions.
wrapped up? Like in rolls from when they came from a bank in 1994? Coinstar might be the way to go.
@lonn47.... Welcome aboard.... You have not given enough information for the members to help you. Information such as condition, dates, rolls or envelopes and pictures would help. Cheers, RickO
Welcome to the forums @lonn47.
Please drop the caps. That is considered “yelling.”
Please post pics of your coins. So we can see if they are worth something.
It cost about $50 to grade one (1) coin.
thanks for your help to all.
Our host has grading guides and lots more reference data if you are interested in learning and investing time in finding a diamond in the rough. You decide. Peace Roy

The fact they've been wrapped for 25 years doesn't mean anything. Grading coins can get very expensive and if you grade the "wrong" coins it can really cost you.
Collector, occasional seller
Post some sharp photos here, then listen to what members have to say.
"Authentication and Grading" a coin will cost about $25 each for postage and fees. You coin has to be worth at least twice that, AND be immediately saleable, for 'grading' to be worthwhile.
This is going...............nowhere.... ....
its a 1877 dime cant post at this time.. thank to all
This one?
oh yes but it has cc on it,, thank you
"It"?
I thought there were 700
Send a check for about $18k , along with the coins, to PCGS with instructions that you want them graded. After that, send them to Great Collections. Voila, no fuss-no mess.
Why bother sending the coins to PCGS??? Great Collections will slab them with PCGS and take the fees out of the settlement check. No need to spend any money!!!
Do have roll dates /denom? BU or circ?
you are on the PCGS board

Any rolls of 1944 steel cents?
no rolls of 1944 buddy, but i do have them 1942 to1999
We need more information. Dates, mint marks, denominations, and photos would be very helpful.
Wow...where do you get your coins graded? You need to consider Economy.
$16 + $22 + $10
Okay off about $2. But I did say “about.” Now what service level do you use get it cheaper for one coin? We’d all like to be on that deal. (Not including bulk.)
And economy’s more than $50 for one coin but still “about.” $22 + $22 + $10.

THANKS SWAMBOY.

I did not mention fee. I mentioned cost. I typed, “It cost about $50 to grade one (1) coin.”
Sorry.....I misunderstood your statement. When you said 50 for one coin …… I took it as 50 per coin. I usually send 10 in at a time. That spreads the $10 fee to a buck on each coin and about 2 bucks on each for shipping.
THANKS DIMEMAN
Broken caps lock key, I guess.
Nope, looks like it is working to me
Agree, like, and LOL!
