Who was/is a fan of classic 1990's basketball errors? -- Giving these cards away now!!

I didn't really collect much in the 90's, much less basketball but error cards have always intrigued me. In their heyday , there were some super tough error cards that it seemed everyone wanted. It seems that has gone by the wayside. Last year I submitted a few of the 1992 Upper Deck Jordan errors and got 3 PSA 10's out of 4. I sold 2 and kept one for my collection. To the best of my knowledge I have the only PSA 10 92 Upper Deck Wilkins error......the opposite to the Jordan error. Just for kicks, I subbed these once iconic 90 Skybox errors. Much to my surprise, there were few or none ever submitted.
Anyhow, was just wondering if anyone has fond memories of these from back in the 90's or still collects them?

I love all error cards, they are always welcome in my home. I remember putting together this skybox set back when it first came out. I don't think I found any error cards from the set, but looking at this set brings back fond memories.

It seems errors/variations are fairly popular in baseball collecting, a good bit less in football, and nearly ignored in most other sports. I wasn't even aware of these, but will be looking for them now, thanks ;)

I remember looking at another website that had all of the 90's basketball errors but I can't seem to find it now. It was really interesting. Showed how difficult they were to find.
This is for the 90 Skybox.

Maybe I'll just give these away in a contest at the end of the weekend!

Like @LarkinCollector , I had no idea these existed. Is there a web site
that gives info on these and other error sets?

I can't find exactly where I found the one article, but the trading card database is good at showing errors/variations of the different years. You would just have to go into each year. Here is the link to the 90 Hoops.

It's warm out, I'm working in the yard, having a few cocktails, smoking some baby back ribs. So, because of that....not completely because of it, but if you are interested in these 3 cards for FREE....let me know. Post a response that you would like them and the most absurd reason that you deserve them over all others. I will let my wife choose the winner. That way, if you don't win, you can't be pissed at me! Have at it fellow collectors!

    Hi Promethius,
I will take a stab. I currently have several of the Hoops errors at Psa on bulk now. I do love these cards and I may attempt to do an error Psa run.

As far as absurd claims, I don’t have any and can’t claim Mitchell Wiggins is my uncle.

    Thanks Cs

    Dear @PROMETHIUS88,

Otis Thorpe went to my college, Antoine Carr is my father and Mitchell Wiggins is my mother.

Please send these cards to @Cs223406

    Too painful for me.

    Thanks!
