...and release.

I recently had a milestone birthday. I themed it at 1/10 my age. I had a bounce house, kid games, race car birthday cake, etc,... The relevant point,...I made about 30 gift bags for my guests filled with play doh, gum, toys, and coins. Most of my unsuspecting guests are non-collectors, so who knows if they even noticed but it was fun putting them together. Smoe of the "released" coins include a 1943-S steel cent, 1915 Lincoln, 1927 Lincoln, wartime nick, assorted silver Mercs and Roosies,...no Saints.
Have you "released" anything lately?

Nice thing to do. May generate some interest, hopefully.
Every day...gas! I'm just an old...
Yes, but it wasn't a coin.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I 'release' new State and Nat. Park Quarters,
BU Sac and Presidential Dollars, and $2 Bills
everywhere, everytime I buy something.
I find I get a smile, a bit of good conversation,
and they remember me the nest time I come in.
Grocery store, laundry, fast food place, restaurants, etc.
I call myself the Johnny Appleseed of Numismatics
on Ventura Blvd.
I had five silver certificates (1950s I think?). When the final one goes to my daughter in a couple of days, that will be the 5th released in the last month.
Good idea, I think I'll try something like that, thank you all !!!
I released five wheaties over the last two weeks....It was painful... I never let coins go...Hoping to find them all in change over the next month....It is a small town here, so maybe
....I cannot bear to part with Mercs...
Cheers, RickO
Remember the world is FLAT(ulence). I know one thing: you don't "gas" your coins.
