Someone got a gift.

I was going to bid on this coin when it was a 66 but I didn't like the contact abrasion on Miss Liberty's head.

Nah, the new plastic didn't make the mark disappear. ;)

I don’t think it was a gift, prob a 66+/67 liner and got the break. Undergraded at 66.

There was no + designation when it was graded so 66+ = 66.

That is a real beauty.... Very, very nice WLH....I believe it warrants the grade.... Cheers, RickO

Last week's home run is usually this week's low-end bargain, ;)
I would not have imagined this final grade. :o
A likely triple-up depending on initial cost and eventual sale price. Last 20%-25% for cashing in depends on finding a retailer with a sucker or an auction label-buyer. :p

nice coin with what I have come to see as unstruck planchet marks from the branch Mints, usually weaker strikes at San Francisco. at that it is uncommonly clean but I think MS66 was correct, a grade of MS67 should have some "pop" and this coin doesn't seem to have it.
