@RogerB a day or so ago mentioned that beyond coins he has a deep appreciation for cats and kittens.

So please post a coin and cat just for him :)

That is one strange looking cat :D

Yeah, I revised my photo post to stick with the theme of the thread! :D

I figured you CAn’T go wrong with 24K Golden CATs!! 😁👍

Now that I’ve been awarded my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wasn’t sure if I should be more of a Conformist or a Rabble Rouser!! :D

Being a Rabble Rouser sounds more enjoyable. 😁

We have five cats, which means I bleed at least once a day after messing with any of them.

Awwwww.....Thank you for the menu ! So hard to select the right entree, and then there's the wine pairing. :)

Dog and cat medals were very popular a century ago and some of the world's best sculptors produced excellent designs -- and all without a cat on a piano. Wealthy pet owners occasionally commissioned bas reliefs for use on pet gravestones or on memorial urns. (Presumably, these were used after the pet died.)

Since @RogerB and I both love 1921 High Relief Peace Dollars, I’d like to add the following to this thread dedicated to Roger...😁👍

It’s interesting that some of my Strongly Struck Peace Dollars are VAM-1H Variety (see 2 of these below). The top coin exhibits light Cameo Contrast between devices and fields that is discernible in the top set of photos.

I admire these for their Satiny to Glossy field surface luster, although they don’t seem to be the Strongest Struck examples.

The Strongest Struck ones seem to predominantly be other VAM varieties.

Bottom line is that it’s difficult to get the proper combination of all the above in a single 1921 Peace Dollar.

OK. Found a really cheap German Liebfraumilch wine to match the entree. Now to decide the best meaty overtones: Purina, rodent, rotted tuna, or maybe feral buffet....?
