Counterfeit sellers getting creative... fake Morgan in a littleton aftermarket holder

Man these counterfeit sellers are getting creative.
This is a fake cc that's been polished and placed in a littleton holder link below... If they put this much effort into legitimate income imagine how much they could actually make, but oh no they have to cut corners and screw over our hobby. So many new hobbyists are getting burned by these fakes and turned off from our hobby.

Does Ebay not ban these fake sellers anymore? Doesn't the return rate get them banned?

Wow! Sold for $260 smackers. As a friend of mine would say

“Doesn't the return rate get them banned?”

Your assuming the buyer knows what a counterfeit looks like to even return the coin.

So much irony on that one.

Likely eventually if they are selling a lot of fakes, but seller only has 2 feedback ratings. It's also possible that the seller got scammed by a previous seller, has no idea, and is not the originator of the scam. The seller has one other listing and at least for me, it's too blurry to determine much of anything regarding authenticity.

The accepted a best offer of <$260 on the CC. The seller's "type set" being offered for $150 is "somewhat" overpriced. Maybe by a factor of 2X. Yuck.

I reported that several days ago....seems like a lot are getting through. Sent the seller a note and he ignored me, of course.

When sellers ignore honest, constructive input...it really ticks me off... and makes me think they are scammers, not just making a mistake. Too bad someone lost some money on this one... Cheers, RickO
