together with the large bead 1966 dollar and a diving goose 1967, I was able to purchase also this very rare coin.
The questions I have here are this:
is it double or triple or both ???
and,
is it a real mint error?
or is it an "artificial" mint error.

Looks OK, I see two strikes also. There may be a shift causing it to look triple struck.
It's real and very nice.
Double struck.
Consensus on these coins is that they are certainly real, in that they left the mint that way. But did have mint employee "help" during fabrication.
Mother looks 3x. Moving in slow motion.
The beads are looking normal...
Without question this error is real. I got nothing in term of the history behind this error.
