Photo's of my 1917 Dimes Type 16 & 17 Obverses.......

I finally got all 6 Dimes photographed and thought I would share. My goal is to have all of these in PCGS65, but this is what I have so far. The first pic is a photo showing the difference in the Type 16 & 17 obverses. There are several small differences, but the easy pick up point is circled.......the difference in those 3 feathers.

The "sharper" 1917 version is attributable, like the quarter, to George Morgan improving a new master die.

You have one of thee nicest collection Mercury dimes I’ve seen. Your threads on the subject of dimes are also quite educational, I always enjoy looking and reading them, Jon.👍🏻👍🏻

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
