Post them if you have them.
I keep buying these things. Everyone has one. This one was $10 and I am sure the guy made a profit.

Here’s an 1892 NGC MS-64 Prooflike Columbian Half from my collection.
The original owner tried twice to get this coin certified as a proof, and also participated in an NGC Presidential Review about it.
Top photos depict more of the coin details, while the lower set better depicts the Cameo Contrast.

Here are a couple of additional photos that I took to demonstrate the Cameo Contrast of this coin...

Thank you for making this thread. I was thinking about making one on the Columbian Expo half since I just received this from CRO.
Columbian half with presentation box.
Haven't had time to image it myself.

My first purchase from CRO, and it was very smooth. Highly recommend them to anyone who has not been to their website. Sign up for the early bird.

@Aotearoa I agree with your above☝️quoted post and would like to add the Lafayette Dollar and Isabella Quarter to that list of Classic U.S. Commemorative coins. (Not👇my Coin)

The Columbian Expo half dollar was the first commemorative coin I received on my paper route when I was nine years old....I kept that coin for a long time....Cheers, RickO
Mine came from grandpa. Same 2x2 since 1972. Probably a lot of them still floating around Chicago back then.

I sell a number of Columbians (good sellers) from my online store and table at shows mostly MS63-64 as they really cheap and popular at current market levels.
On an interesting note did you know the worlds fair opened a year after so it was actually celebrating the 401st anniversary. It must have been amazing!

No proof Columbian halves or Isabella quarters were made. However, dies were polished and pieces struck from the shiny dies -- 400 for the halves and I forget the quantity for quarters.
FullHorn - I hope the seller used his profit to buy a T-square so he could get the text and boxes aligned on the next batch.
