2019 American Legion Uncirculated Half Reverse - Speared Flag – Error

This American Legion Uncirculated Commemorative Half Dollar Reverse has what appears to be an unusual die crack. The crack runs through the field and into the Flag Device. The crack is in relief so it is not a “struck thru” error. A virtually linear die crack, this size, in the center of a Working Die is uncommon. There must be other “progression” strikes out there before this Working Die shattered or was taken out of service.

Yes, I thought the same on both counts. This is a big die crack in an open field, hard to miss.
I do think there are others out there at varying stages of progression.
