How were these distributed?
Game pieces? Packs?
Not everything shown here is a Topps Venezuelan; some are stickers made by other manufacturers. I can only speak to the 1959-68 Topps Venezuelans. Those were sold in packs, right next to albums that they were meant to be pasted into. The cards are printed on a much thinner, softer (cheaper) paper, so this combined with the pasting means that very few copies of any of these cards survived, especially when also combined with the fact that they’re 50-60 years old. For me, condition almost doesn’t matter. In most cases, I’m happy just to own a copy of the card.
Thanks for the kind words guys ..............the only raw cards of Venny's I have is the 64 Cub team card and 64 Ken Boyer .......I plan on grading both of them for my sets ! Here is a picture of the Boyer !
