1944 s "WALKING LIBERTY" Grade anyone???

Pulled this out of this 1993 coin set ,been in the case since 93, wondering what you guys thought on grade& value any helpful input is greatly appreciated

  • Thanks mark, I was wondering maybe it was polished ,I'm no expert but kind of thought maybe so, guess they polished them for the sets,thanks

    Looks like someone used a grinder or a belt sander on that one. It's worth melt value.

    Surface reminds me someone prepping a car for sanding. Have to remove the old paint so the quickest is to blast it with a fine grit media, i.e., sandblasting.

    Wow... what a shame.... I really like WLH's, and hate to see them like that....That would be a good candidate to make a ring....Cheers, RickO
