I <3 the BS stories sellers add to make bidders drool :D

This AT barber had such a story although the building materials used to build the store are only about 60 years old.

Found in safe of 200 year old store during demolition!

During the demolition of a 200+ year old pottery store an enormous safe was found (See photos). Most of the contents were junk, but the shop owner was an avid coin collector and hoarded away some of the best pieces that came into the shop, just as his father had done. Many of the coins are dusty and dirty, but I read online not to touch the coins in any way. Therefore, they will be listed exactly as found.

Very believable, my great uncles great great grandfather invented cinder blocks some time just before 1800. They don't make them like they used to. That store has held up very well for being 200+ years old. :D

The Egyptians learned to make cinderblock from the aliens who visited earth many many years ago. But you already knew that. Peace Roy

I'm not saying it was aliens, but it was aliens! :D

Give the guy a break! I believe him.

That building looks just like the ones in places like Williamsburg. Now where did I put my glasses.

Yes, I think it's the Raleigh Tavern, where Washington and Jefferson traded stories over (ceramic) mugs of ale.

I don't agree with lying, but if you are going to tell lies, at least make it somewhat convincing! Good grief. :s

Wow, so many coins the safe could hardly contain them! Just let the best of the best spill all over the floor, nevermind the nicks, cuts, scratches, they'll buff right out using the trusty 200 year old secret formula polish that grandpaw left behind.
