I was waiting for Kranky to write his great reports, so here goes a short version
Wednesday set up day for early arriving dealers
Trading was going well which wasn’t bad since only half of the dealers setup on Wednesday and the others setup on Thursday. The hosting organization provided some eats toward the end of the day.
Thursday was the first day for the public. Sales were like bananas came in bunches, busy for a short while and then long time of nothing.
Friday slower than the first two days, but still OK
Saturday was better than Friday and the public had more tire kickers than buyers.
Overall good
New a club midway something I see growing
Exhibit area was well setup and received well
The lectures were excellent except one I didn’t understand???????
Had breakfast and dinner with some good friends maybe the best part of the shows nowadays

I visited on Thursday, and found the parking lot and bourse busier and buzzier than usual. There were some new dealers, which I was happy to see, and of course old friends as well.
I did some business with Rob and Robbie at Reeded Edge. I appreciate their old school approach to customer service and supporting the coin market at all levels. It is always a pleasure to work with them!
I'm in between coin projects, looking for my next inspiration, so I spent most of my time talking with dealers, trying to look at things I normally pass right by, and generally soaking in coins. I only purchased one coin - the second Morgan dollar in my collection. Totally a widget, but purely fun:
My cell phone can't capture the look in hand, where it is satiny black with oil slick colors when tilted and tons of luster. The subtle textile toning on the cheek makes it legit!
Going in, I was a bit concerned about attendance (by dealers and buyers) so soon after the ANA show, but my concerns were unfounded. It was a nice day at a nice show.
Comments
I assume that means you will not be attending, but want to see reports.... Me too....
Cheers, RickO
@PTVETTER ? @Verno ? We're interested in your thoughts...
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Profliz FYI Robbie ran the 1/2 marathon and came in 13th in his age group.
Way to go, Robbie! That's a serious accomplishment in that giant field.
