Just wondering who is going and/or setting up at the show.

Ray Williams and I will be running the GSNA's annual gathering of the Early American Coppers Club (EAC) and Colonial Coin Collectors Club (C4) which starts on Saturday at 1PM. It's open to everyone, and in recent years we've been quite pleased to see some new faces along with the usual "cast of characters."

The show is being held at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, 375 Davidson Ave., Somerset, NJ 08873. It's right off Exit 10 on Interstate 287.

You can get the rest of the information from the website's flyer I attached.

One point of clarification: The paltry $3.00 admission charge for adult, non-members is a one-time only charge. It is not an explicit per day charge. The flyer should really say "good for all three days."

If you join or renew your membership at the show (it's $10.00 I believe), the fee is waived as the show is free to members.

For the record, the food on the premises is very good and has been for years.

The show is only 8 miles from my house, and I will there for the most part of all three days, and I will definitely network and get feedback from others and encourage those who are in the board to comment.

I got to the show a bit before 11:30AM, and there was a solid number of attendees for the good 2.5-hour stretch I was there, and the 90 minutes I wasn't there when the show opened.

Kevin Vinton (Inde Et Lib) was there, which always brings out the Early American Copper and Colonial clientele. A lot of other familiar faces seemed to be selling a fair amount of other early type, both for rarity (R5 or better) and quality. I don't have an overall report on the paper money or generic front, but I will be sure (or someone else can fill it in) tomorrow.

Had the pleasure to stop bye the show Sat as I usually do business with many of the dealers. The folks who run the show put an amazing amount of time to have a very nice faculty. Plenty of free parking and only an hour or so from NYC. While I did not check out the food I saw they have a bustling kitchen selling everything from snacks to sandwiches. Last years show had a few regular dealers missing due to illness etc but this year it was back on track with pretty full house. Weather was perfect and had the opportunity to do some wonderful business with at least a dozen dealers. Good to see a few dealers who normally are not at the more local NJ. nY and Ct shows folks like Wayne from Wizard and others. All in all I would say a nice way for anyone who loves coins to spend a few hours crowd was building up as I left around noon. Next show for me will be the Coin and Collectibles Fair in Mt Kisco on Sun June 9th. Hope to see some board members there!
