Just a modest, crusty circ. I thought she was cute, so I picked her up.

GTG before looking up the cert, if you feel like it.

I could see that in the 12-15 range

It is LM-2 die marriage, the most common of 1834

I guessed 15 when I was first shown the TrueView, before I looked it up.

Neat just wish they would treat any PVC growth prior to encapsulating anything.

Before looking, I'm going to guess F-12. Question, tho (for my learning) - is that a ding (maybe the same ding as the rim), at "US" of "PLURIBUS"? Or, something else going on there that I don't know about? Nice pickup! I like!

    Rocking my "shiny-object-syndrome"!!!

I'm really not sure what's going on there- whether it's an old mark, some kind of die variety thing, or a planchet flaw. (That last seems unlikely to me.)

that’s a really nice coin indeed.. I think barndog is right, it must be closer to 15, maybe slightly more than that, not really sure..

Anyone else have any ideas on what that might be? I originally thought maybe just a big hit to the rim and that area of "E PLURIBUS UNUM", so that brought me to an F-12. On viewing the pic blown up on my monitor, it looks like the "ATE" of "STATES" might also be dinged. But, maybe it's something else? And, what's the upper portion of the second "S" of "STATES" filled with?

    Rocking my "shiny-object-syndrome"!!!
