Do you think this toned peace is Market Acceptable?

Looks like a patterned toning on the observe, with odd toning on the reverse.

Nope. Yuck.
How can you tell? Is there a dead giveaway that I am missing??
No. Ugly.
Somebody paid $66 for that? Holy sheet.
Double yuck, market acceptable or not that is just ugly.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Ugly dark toning. Worth melt IMO.
Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.
Looks like a cloth pattern in the toning. From contact with the Mint bag? Very poor eye appeal.
This.
Dunno if it is market acceptable or not. It's ugly, so_ I _would not be in the market.
I would only single yuck it rather than double yuck. But still yuck.
I took the question in the thread title to mean: Is the toning “market acceptable” as in original? I think there’s a good chance that it is. Either way, however, as others have opined, it looks quite unattractive to me.

Wow... that is one, horrible, ugly Peace dollar....it looks as if it has been at the bottom of a bar spittoon for a couple of years....Cheers, RickO
Actually looks NT, but is mega-dull. Like trying to look at your reflection in sandpaper.

What he said. And that may also be wrapping machine damage to boot. Hard to say.

no, that's fugly in my books. if it suits you then go for it.
@Skrill90 IMO the subject👇coin appears to be Environmentally Damaged as if it were exposed for a prolonged period of time under water.
Most specifically I’m referring to the sharp peripheral concentric toning transition on the reverse between “United Sates of America” and “E Pluribus Unum”, which IMO looks like a liquid crusty buildup contact interface.
The dark alteration on the obverse also looks to be Environmentally Damaged to me, exhibiting some type of Textile Toning pattern. Note the unusual circular corroded appearing area between the “9” and first “2” in the date. — Hope this helps answer your question...

Think this coin has Environmental Damage to me, worth melt only to most.
Originally ugly. Surface stains plus tarnish. Might look better with the stains removed - especially the reverse.
I think that one's a goner.

It has a unique aesthetic and definitely not a plane Jane peace. We all have different tastes in what we like, so enjoy it if you own it.
I'd rather spend hours glancing at the $5 and three $20 bills someone spent on this turd
Must have been the free shipping. There were 9 bidders with >1000 feed backs each on that coin....which in itself is unusual on a $65 coin. Several with over 4000 FB's. Those are either power collectors or dealers. Several of them wanted it at $49-$65.
No, not even close IMHO.
