EBay's "CAPTCHA" rears it's ugly head again

Supposedly, eBay claimed they fixed this issue a few years ago. I've now been bit by the "CAPTCHA" bug 3 times this week. I am worried about listing coins at auction as the snipe bids may be blocked. It's a big enough risk that a listing may be missed, but now there's another risk that eBay may block last second bids:

Have you tried clearing cache, cookies, all unneeded temp/history files, and restarting browser and/or computer?
That's really unusual. I've actually never seen it.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
The bids actually come from gavelsnipe's server. I was told the "CAPTCHA" is randomly initiated by eBay to make sure the bid is coming from a person and not a computer.......This is what really pissed me off, of course it's coming from a computer, that's what a sniping program is. EBay claims they had fixed this issue a few years ago . They said they'd look into it. I've not had a CAPTCHA block this week, hopefully they fixed it.
one of the many reasons to have an auction start price that matches your min. sell price or to list buy it now.

I have never encountered that on ebay..... and had several transactions there this past week. Cheers, RickO
Has never affected my using the Gixen sniper.
I guess people are still into the whole sniping thing. As a bidder, I just set the max I'm willing to pay and forget it. All the sniping bots and shill bidders can have at it if it goes past what I think it's worth.
first time ive seen that one I wont go looking for it any time soon either by the looks of it
