Hello - I was hoping for an opinion on this 1983 LMC. If it’s worth slabbing

Welcome,
no, that one is not worth grading. looks like too many issues in the copper plating.

If you even considered having that slabbed you need to slow down, put away the wallet and learn a lot more about the coins you want to collect. The coin you picture is a common date Lincoln with plating problems that are often seen during that period that is worth exactly one cent.

Welcome @Dreverett1 to the forums.
As previously posted that cent has problems and is worth face value, i.e., one cent.
Read the following on plating blisters:

Enjoy the hobby!

Well, to be fair it is a Lincoln Memorial Cent. I don't know why LMC is any more or less appropriate than LS or WLH or any other abbreviation that gets used around here.
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.

To the OP - if you want to collect high grade moderns that is fine, but it is probably best to buy them already slabbed. Grading fees for an individual submitter will eat you alive - the big dealers get a lower bulk rate. Even then the coins sometimes sell on the secondary market for less than the grading fees.

It's just unneeded and confusing verbiage - and "cent" by itself if fine, too.Let's agree to just call it a "penny" so we call all be upset.
