thanks all, good job,
bob
what a bummer to see that
eBay should thank forum members here for helping to police their site, but they probably don't like us very much.
Yikes, I hate that !!!
Good job, this is a no doubter, no debate, not a leg to stand on counterfeit, complete with artificial grime n wear.
What do think they use for the dirt n grime? Shoe polish?
Glad to see it was pulled.... Just way too much of this on ebay.... and forum members have done most of the work getting them removed. Cheers, RickO

reported both above.
Kudos to the posters shining the light onto these fakes. However with all the alerts, it appears E-Bay just doesn't seem to care. I quit even browsing E-Bay.
I have trouble understanding how ebay has not been prosecuted under the Hobby Protection Act. Time and time again they allow these sellers to continue to post counterfeit coins after they have been alerted. "It shall be a violation of the Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder for a person to provide substantial assistance or support to any manufacturer, importer, or seller of imitation numismatic items". Book 'em, Danno.
While a pretty decent fake that would fool any novice, It’s pretty easy to detect. As for the 11 previously sold, poor people. Literally.
Seller weighed it: 24 grams..... He SAW THE LIGHT! (pun intended)

That one’s easy. The federal government has bigger fish to fry. Sometime back, I wrote a letter to the Federal Trade Commission. I am thankful I didn’t hold my breath waiting for a response.
I too tried reporting to the Secret Service (10 or more years ago) and was told that unless it involves a LOT of pieces they are not interested in pursuing. They main focus was counterfeit bills.

@AUandAG "Sent seller a polite note.....toy guy it seems and may not know."
A polite note didn't seem to work....still listed.
Looks like the seller added a few more listings that look questionable.
