My recent safe find...........
Have no clue as to when or where, but it was just hanging out with a bunch of other worn quarters....
Probably a good get to get the PO01 wouldn't you think?

Too much detail for P001 IMO nice find of course I'm a seated guy. I suppose on a bad day it might grade poor.
that's one of those silly coins that would get bid way, way up in a holder by the LowBall guys.
Probably never get around to submitting it, just enjoying it for now.

Are coins like that still called slicks?
I would not call this a slick. To me a slick the date or mint mark is such that it can't be determined as to what it is.

I'm thinking it's a 2.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Here’s a PO01 to compare with:

Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.

Too much visible for a 1 in my opinion. It is at least a 2. Carry it around in your change pocket for a year and check back in with us.
How many hands did that CC Quarter pass thru! Carson City. I like it.
100% Positive BST transactions
It’s close could go ether way

I doubt that many people are putting a set of these together in PO01 so it might not go for what you are thinking.

At least it is a CC....
Cheers, RickO
Shot at a 1 maybe. Too much meat on the eagle maybe unless the grader feels generous on the chase.
If it did go PO01, it would be high grade, so it might go PO01 CAC.
like it was said id leave it alone and enjoy it as is. jmo
I like it, glad you found it !!!
I used to complain about the logic of sending a PO01 coin to CAC ... since CAC indicates strong for the grade and who wants a strong for the grade PO1?....kind of defeats the purpose of the lowball, right?
Some explained that CAC is also verifying that the coin is wholesome and problem-free for the PO01 grade...which is true it seems.
I think you could have a PO01 there....I actually like it a little better as a 1 than as a 2....
Wouldn’t slabbing this prevent you from “romancing” the coin? @topstuf
