So I did see the Supernova coin up close in person today and.....

........and I'll be the first one to admit it does look way better in person, like way better. Even snapped a few up close shots on my phone.

Well, then share pics of this stellar mirage. Always good to see additional photos. Cool coin but undetermined with color/pattern. Please share.
I would bet my pockets inside-out that the supernova $20 is beyond killer in hand...but hopefully your phone isn’t the same model as what PCGS uses for TrueView’s, or it may just look the same
Well, that will leave the panties of the armchair image experts all stained. The toning will not be for everyone, but the coin does need to seen in hand to make a decision on it. Even my images in my Instagram feed don't quite do it justice.

@Luxor Pics would be great. We can compare.

If the in hand pics are accurate, I'm still not impressed. It is exactly what I would expect a rust stained coin from the bottom of the ocean to look like. It's not for me, but I respect those that like it. Whatever makes you all happy...
It may look better but there are still the hits that don't seem to be consistent with a 67 according to photograde and ANA grading. So kinda hard to get over that as a 67 IMO.....
Best, SH
And it's not just any 67, it has a CAC sticker. I hope the reserve is met on this one. I'm obviously not a super elite coin dealer, but my instinct would have been to dump this one at CAC's bid directly to JA for a quick flip.

As a side note, the coin IMO also looks way better in person than my poor cell phone shots. As others have said, you have to view in person to make a determination.

Wow, looks "killer" to me !!!
This coin would not be for me.... it is - IMO - as ugly as used toilet paper....Cheers, RickO
I saw the Supernova in person yesterday and it looks much better in person. Granted, it’s not for everybody, but for the lack of a better word it’s “impressive” looking. The toning is “stunning” and it doesn’t look like rust. Technically the coin is not a 67 but it’s graded as a market acceptable 67.

Those are probably the nicest shots weve seen

I can't make myself find this coin attractive. Great pics however.
Anything beyond the technical grade is subject to personal taste and preference. It’s like pricing wine or audiophile equipment. For some people, certain items are worth a lot, for others it’s just not their interest. For example, when I go wine tasting, I pass on like 95% of the wine I taste because it’s just not my personal preference, no matter the winery, vinter, expert rating, etc.
I’m glad to see people who have actually seen the coin report back. Whilst not for most it’s pretty impressive in hand regardless. Glad to see some balance in this thread

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
