    First thought is a bad paint job. Q-tip and acetone to see if it comes off.

    Oxidized, not reduced. They are opposite of each other.

    Apparently, I may be slightly pedantic myself! I had to search the spelling and meaning of the word, since I've never used it before (and I needed to see who spelled it correctly)! See, in this coin forum, you can not only learn about coins, but can also increase your vocabulary! :wink:
