@ReadyFireAim The three gold coins all have dates before the year 1500AD.
Coins with dates before 1500 AD are usually considered rare. The 1494 Nordlingen
piece has less than 10 known. Robert A. Levinson has written a book cataloging
the over 1200+ pieces known.
1938-D Buffalo with documentation from the U.S. Treasury that was included with coin, when purchased, or, given, presumably in 1938? Nickel is BU, aged/toned from being entombed in yellow envelope. Apparently, letter from Treasury explains changes from the Buffalo, to Jefferson nickel series. Will post better picks- should arrive tomorrow!!!

I also get superstitious about posting before receiving a coin.
Thankfully coin arrived today!
I am pursuing an old holdered Commem Set. The Iowa is a common coin, I know. But I was hoping for something special with this one.
These are sellers photos.

Here are my pics about 5 seconds after getting the package open:

I understand not to everyone’s liking but I am pleased!
My current "Box of 20"
It's to liking too. Beautiful coin. Congratulations.
