Don't really look for them. Recall one from a video poker payout a dozen years ago.
I put it back in.
LOL. You do know, that Silver coin(Dollar or Half?) If kept, you would have 2-3 more tries for the cost of that one coin in silver.

It was a quarter. Figured it would bring me luck.
None of the above. A few months ago a co-worker was trying to buy something in the vending machine and she complained it would not take her quarter. She asked me if I had another one she could trade for. As she went to hand it to me she dropped it on the tile floor. I could tell from the sound it was silver. I told her it was worth about $2.50 in silver value. She said I just want my chips, lets trade.
Tell me it was that '34. That thing is saweet.
@joeykoins . While searching for the "W" in a box of quarters found a '47 S last night.
Yeah, your find was not in my list. Nice!
One More Thing...That '47 Quarter has quite a few varieties.

Yep... Coinstar was the last silver coin found.....a Rosie dime....I am always on the lookout for silver... in change, at the bank teller window (reviewing their coin holders), roll searching (halves), at the cash register (peeking into the change drawer)....Cheers, RickO
You sound like me Ricko, that's funny. You better watch out, someone may think you're checking out the register in the wrong way.LOL

I looked all over attempting jar my memory to no avail. I gave up looking.
The other day I misplaced a handful $20 gold coins. While I was looking for the coins my wife found an envelope with the silver dollar inside.
I might be getting too old for the hobby? LOL
Getting one as a gift doesn't really count as "in the wild", does it?
Sure, why not? Anytime one receives Silver, it's WILD!!!
