ANACS Crossovers

WAYNEASWAYNEAS Posts: 6,787 ✭✭✭✭✭

Does any one have some knowledge / experience of how well an "ANACS" graded coin fairs when resubmitted to PCGS's crossover program? Let's use an ANACS PR69 graded coin as an example. What would PCGS grade it at, historically?

If we are using a PR69 as an example I would guess it's modern. Generally speaking modern proofs should cross very close to the same grade at any of the big 3 companies. You could see a grade point change but I would think it would be within 1 point better or worse.

I crossed 2 MS-graded ANACS error coins to PCGS. One got the same grade, and the other 1 grade lower.
