Dumb thread after learning my monitor colors were off...after viewing coins on wife's i-pad.

Like a young lad last night, I viewed all my coins......well, almost (the dang bulb burned out), with a headlight that attaches to your forehead......I saw some very intense colors and luster I never knew existed on my coins before. It was a very satisfying journey until I saw the photos I have taken over the years. So...I decided to saturate the bajeezas out of a coin with my photo editor. I realize folks don't like seeing enhanced colored coins but this is what I saw with the headlamp and more. :)

The head light approximates axial lighting, which will show exaggerated contrast and saturated colors.

Well, I'm unable to argue that.
How I felt after blinding myself for two hours with that tiny light bulb.

Here's another although, I don't care for the strike.....just the colors!

In honor of my youngest turning 24 today, we have been looking at some old Lincoln cents this past week. He got me interested in looking at coins and this is a couple of the ones I like. There’s hundreds of them but there’s just something about old pretty pennies that give me joy.
