Do Trueviews Appear After Submissions Are Shipped Back?

I recently sent in 45 coins for grading and Trueviews. The grades appeared yesterday (no great surprises there; well, except for QC Unc Details on a 1909-S Indian cent) but the Trueviews have not yet appeared even though the order says Shipped. Do Trueviews appear last?

And I thankee.

Kind regards,

George

Yes, they appear a day or two after you get the e-mail which is annoying.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Post the picture of the QC IHC please...did you suspect this possibility? Or is it a complete surprise?? Cheers, RickO

It seems like it generally depends on how fast the turnaround was. My last econ submission took 30 days and the TVs were up as almost as soon as I had grades. A regular submission graded the same day as that econ (after only 5 business days) and those are not yet in the system.

Check coinfacts images first, if they are up there you can expect TVs soon.

Swap in your cert number for CF images.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Yep, that one was a surprise. Don't really agree with that.

    But here's why I like Trueviews. This is a common coin, 1938-D/D, MS64 ... but ...

Might fine TVs of the IHC and Buff!

Did the QC on the IHC state it was obverse or reverse?

Trying to see what would be QC... maybe reverse center fields? I do not know.

    Pulled out the hi-res obv/rev.

I usually have my order held until I can see the TV's. That way I can have Phil tweak the pics until I like them. He is good to work with. :)

Beautiful coins. I don't agree with the 09-S either! And then they straight grade those hideous looking Silver Eagles! :s

We were working hard last week to shoot as many coins as we could last week, so we're slightly behind getting them online. But, if you like, just send us your order number at photography@collectors.com and we can get them online as soon as possible.

Thank you kindly but I got the email this morning and have already downloaded all 45 of them! I appreciate you all very much (more so than the graders right now, I have to say). And thanks for your note.

    Kind regards,

    George

What held the 38-D/D at 64? Looks nicer, but TVs can do that kind of thing.

@ChrisH821 I thought maybe the little dark flecks below the Buffalo.

    Here's the 1938-D/S which got an MS66.

You don't. I check 25 times a day and when they post I check on them. I usually have a problem so I have them put them on hold.

I actually like the 64 better than the 66.

...don’t sell that baby in the details holder...cause that’s a gift to the next man...who knows, maybe even the graders are checking eBay for her as I type this ;)

...totally kidding about the graders ;)

Here are two others I've been stewing over. I'm not as good a grader of Buffalo nickels, but I thought this one might have a shot at a straight VF25.

Instead, it got VF Details-Env. Damage. Now, I can see that, but there's still a lot of meat left on those bones. But now it's a lot harder to value. And Lord knows I've seen comparable Buffalos in straight-graded holders, like the one below from my own submission. Is PCGS especially tough on these overdates? I looked at the ones on eBay, and it appears most are in Details holders (although seldom more than VG Details or Fine Details, seldom VF Details).

    This is the 1915-S, VF30:

Thanks for your thoughts, especially from the Buffalo nickel experts.

    Kind regards,

    George

It is not surprising. I think the new reholder with free True View special is causing a bit of a backlog. No worries...
