Nice lamination & much better photos. :)

Hard to grade coins not in hand but I would guess around the MS-64RB range.

MS grade but not worth the cost of slabbing. The universe of collectors who like laminations and will pay premiums for them is small. It is a good example of a lamination for an exhibit. Leave it just as it is.

    All glory is fleeting.

As a point of reference, unlike 'normal coins,' the grade of an error coin is not really that important. The value mostly comes from the coin's eye appeal and the specific error type.

Thanks to every one who replied to this topic on the 1946 D little devil lamination error I am definitely sending it in for slabing and having it graded just for the purpose of keeping it in the state it is now and prevent future damage. The odds of finding another just like it are not that good thank you all again for your replys.

That is a good example of delamination (often called - here - lamination)... well worth keeping as a teaching tool. Thanks for the great pictures. Cheers, RickO
