Item dug amongst killer coins
Smack dab in the middle of an assortment of coins from 1753, 1835, 1863, 1893, 1897,1909 I pop this gizmo out. It's pewter, obv is smooth with an edge rim, rev is rough as if poured into a wood or other mold. There are 3 small holes where attachment pins rusted away. H 2.75" W 2 .68" No markings anywhere. I'm thinking breastplate, leather buggy harness adornment or what do you think? Peace Roy

Really neat and interesting find Roy... might have been home made jewelry, fabricated for some 18th century sweetheart.... certainly a keeper. That is an amazing site you work.... Cheers, RickO
Interesting find, don't know what it is, but I like it !!!
Wish you guys were there with me @ricko @Timbuk3 . Attached please find the 1753 1 real. I also dug a 1863 OUR NAVY civil war token in poor shape but I can see the date and slogan. Darn time and ground mineralization.
