Definitely an error. A 2014 dime dated 2012, get it slabbed.
Yes my error on date tankyou
What sort of error do you think it is? I am having a hard time seeing the surfaces through all that white gunk that was put on the coin long after it left the mint.
More appropriate for the Q & A forum
it looks like a metal detecting dig from a soccer field. jmo & fwiw
What 200 posts You should be an expert by now on IS this DD or whatever Error your imagine
Why should we answer your requests as you dont seem to learn from previoys ones? or just trolling?
Yes, I think it is a Dage & ertor.
Looks like the copper nickel exterior was removed by acid or electrolysis. Do you have a weight?
Maybe our other expert on PMD **@acadien ** can chime in on this one.
Tank You.
@Benito
Not an error. Damaged. Spend it before it becomes too unrecognizeable.
Have you thought about another hobby... like metal detecting?
There is a forum here for it, too.
Check it out.

And you’ll get lots of exercise.
As football coach Jim Mora says "You think you know but you do not know".
Hemi, " like metal detecting?"
That might only compound the problem.
Not if he posts in that forum. LOL
Stamps or paper money would be good too.
if you bought the penny roll at face, you should be happy with your gain and spend it.
Hmmmm....How did it get on the roll and remain there until you found it? I put a quarter on a roll of nickels but it rolled off....
You just made 900% on a single cent purchase. So I recommend you stop looking now, and quit while you are ahead.
Consider buying a $750 million Powerball ticket, as you are on a lucky streak.

Just PMD.... lucky find, you gained nine cents... Cheers, RickO
