Other Uses for the Registry and Other Things

Specifically, I use the registry to maintain an inventory of my PCGS slabbed coins.
I have found it is extremely easy and convenient for this purpose. Especially with the capability to print and export data. After exporting I then can import the data into my master list with which has all the other non PCGS slabbed coins.
Anyone have any other innovative uses for their registry/data?

Hemispherical, I have to say ditto on using the registry inventory to keep track of my coins. I also back up my inventory into a spread sheet and keep the shipping label and attach it to the bill of laden. This may be a redundancy for some but not to me as my master list allows me to keep full track of all slabbed coins, the certification codes especially on coins that I have given out as gifts.> @Hemispherical said:

I had not thought of keeping a record of who I had given a slab too; luckily, I do not give too many slabs away and they are gifts to family members.
Time to go checking and updating.
This is my primary usage of registry as well. I am still figuring out all the functions but I haven't published any of the sets yet.
It serves as a constant reminder on how much I've overspent on my collection

Best repository for my photos so I can enjoy the coins while the actual items are securely stored elsewhere
Do you use your own, the TPGS’s, or a combination of pics with the registry?
mostly I use the PCGS true view photos, though I supplement those with my own pics when I didn't get PCGS to take pics or when I have a better one
That’s one area I just cannot get right, i.e., taking good pics of coins in or out of a slab. I’ll do a basic pic but rely on the GS/TV pics. Working on getting everything that way.
OT: If your collecting the Apollo coins, the joint US and Royal Australian Mint’s set is now available, more details in the Apollo thread: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/comment/12319313/#Comment_12319313
