can someone, or all of you, please help with a grade on this one and perhaps what the value could be?
you guys know by now that I am NOT into US or foreign coins (into Canadian, oh, the dark side ) and seriously am lost with this one and the way it should be graded. I know it is better than AU....I hope... but how much better????
thanks everybody
Today is the first day of the rest of my life

I think 64. Nice unworn/unclashed dies though.

That is a very nice strike. 16 is the most common early type 2 but yours looks like an easy 64 or even 65 if the luster is all there, assuming I’m not seeing hairlines on the body of the buff.
I would give it a 64.
Pretty clean. Nice top feather and close to a 3-D tail. Great strike, somewhat shallow central obverse.
It might be Medium Die State, with subtle signs of re-working. I agree with the hairlines.
Looks high 64 or a 65.
Pete
Nice strike I’m going with 64+ maybe 65

Has the look and strike of a 66.
I would guess, based on the pictures, a 64... the reverse would definitely go 65 alone though. Cheers, RickO
The photos make me wonder about the originality of the surfaces. It's a coin I would have to see in-hand.
If it straight grades at 64, about a $100 coin. Price guides at $125.
