Just got this nice 1906-S Dime in the mail......RPM ???...

There is definitely something in the lower loop of MM. In the upper loop you have to look closely to see what appears to be the curve of another "S". I will probably sent off to Dr. Wiles with some other coins for his opinion. What are your thoughts?

    I vote die chip. I see what your talking about in the upper loop but doesn't seem to line up with what's in the lower loop.

    I think I see slight, and I mean very slight, CCW rotation. I think I see some separation in both the top and bottom serif. Is that what you are referring too?

    Thought is is a die chip. Looking closer, there looks to be some lines in the upper serif that would denote some form of removal attempt.

    It just might be an RPM.
