Simply stunning! And that cant be graffiti, as no one could attempt to deface something so beautiful without being first struck by the hand of God.

this is a perfect coin as to why you can't make comments off images. the trueview is the coin out of the holder. the lines at 11 on the obverse were on the holder. there are one or two slight adj lines on the reverse.

every one who has seen it in hand agrees fully w/the grade.

    I love the coin.

Laura, everyone here who hasn't seen it is making comments 'off the images.', aren't they? And all of them are positive and laudatory. Fwiw, (not much) I too agree with the grade, and the sticker, and love the coin. Not the point.

My questions weren't about the adjustment marks, or the marks on the holder, but rather about the actual hairline scratches in the fields that we all clearly see in the trueview picture. Are you saying that they don't exist on the actual coin?

I can see remnants of a D and R in the left obverse field, but probably almost invisible in hand. Still a wonderful coin.

I see a green oval sticker 2 inches above the R in LIBERTY.

Alright, enough of the stupidity. There are no initials on the coin. There are two or three tiny parallel hairlines in the left obverse field and that’s it. Show me a gold coin without hits or lines and I’ll show you a freak of nature.

A huge congratulations to both of you, Joe
