Man I was pulling for you! I was hoping you would be posting this today. Bruce that’s next level off the charts. That coin is a freak of nature and a lottery pick earring

Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
It's so refreshing to see such an advanced collector with such discerning taste buy such a rare early coin. So, examining the trueview closely, is that apparently light graffiti in the fields?

THERE IS NO graffiti on the coin. That was an unwarranted and inaccurate comment.
Bruce/Laura, truly asking to learn as it's WAY outside my area of specialty: Would you then consider all of the marks on the higher points and rims (of both sides) to be adjustment marks?
Unquestionably a beautiful coin in an amazing state of preservation. Congratulations Bruce.

Now, when you have the jeweler mount these as earrings, be sure to tell him to put the 5 at 6 o’clock!

This might be a coin which may even be attributed to 1st mint director David Rittenhouse, if a D and an R can be detected, imagine the value such a provenance would add!
Thanks for the added photo. I couldn't tell what was being questioned looking at the TrueView. From what is being posted by those who have seen the coin in hand, apparently the markings, whatever they are, in the 11-O-clock area are insignificant when viewed in person.
Congrats!!! That Sweet Baby is Bad To The Bone!!!! Now I turn on National Treasure...cut the top off a drum of double-fudge brownie, spoon for each hand...Hell Yeah...Double Hell Yeah!

Bruce, I think you should cut yours down to size, so that they match (much) better.😉

First I'd like to say-every major knowledgable dealer who saw the coin in hand had only one word for it: AWESOME.
THERE IS NO graffiti on the coin. That was an unwarranted and inaccurate comment.
This coin had totally "original skin" and rivaled the MS65's out there.
Congrats Bruce, you got your dream coin!
With that said, I certainly enjoy my 1804 with the D in the cloud. Can’t wait to turn that into TDN.

Personally, I don't see any problems here but, because of what others have said, this coin is the reason that I'm glad CAC is around.

I’m totally jealous. Just an amazing coin in every way 👍🏻👌🏻🇺🇸
That is a true work of art by my reckoning

Super gorgeous coin! We all love it! Not knocking such a high grade historical coin at all, just trying to learn:
Are we saying we don't see the marks at all? Or we do see them but do not believe them to be intentionally placed?
Because if they were "random", from what do we think?
I'm not asking about the classic adjustment marks on the devices, but about the wispy ones in the fields

Wow... drooling.
Congrats... Terrific coin
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
I feel my blood pressure going up.
What the H! are people trying to call Graffiti? I do some very minor adjustment marks.
Oh! Wow!

Held the coin twice or three times, no graffiti.
Pretty AMAZING coin. @tradedollarnut
Agree. I studied that Trueview image for a long time. I enlarged it all the way. No way that's graffiti. That's a heck of a coin!

OMG. That coin is off the charts........
The coin looks amazing on the photos, original and more beautiful than all the 65s I saw. Congrats !!
Was Frank Underwood the consigner?
Hoping to see more photos of the surfaces, just such an interesting coin to study, must be fascinating in person..
