Just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this? Looks like the ones are missing from the label. Anyone have any holdered coins like this?

Any fine print that says Made in China?
That's a really odd error, the 1 is there in S$1 but not anywhere else. I've never seen anything like it.
Photo of the back?
I read the bar code using the PCGS verification app.....and....
It's a legit 1888 dollar, graded MS61. Full number 7182.61/09444017.
So, it appears the "1" wasn't functional, except for the denomination (?)
Strange.....
Is it a real holder? The print looks off to me

Haven't seen that before.

The pic of the label was photo edited or the label itself was modified.
If you zoom in on the missing digits you can see the “smeared” like patterns of pixels where the missing “1” and “.” are supposed to be.
As I was scrolling down to view the coin, I was wondering to myself whether it would be dated “888”. 😉

That is unique... I do not recall ever seeing one like that on this forum... of course, I do not open ever post, but I think it would have attracted attention before as well. It is a listed coin, but no image of the label. Cheers, RickO
For those of you who don't collect slabs, this holder may just appear to be a novelty. For those of us who are 'connoisseurs of the plastic' this is indeed a rare treat.
The label is from an early PCGS 'skunkworks' project initialized by our own @Lakesammman. It was a novel 'Guess the Grade' label that was intended to help teach grading by having the owner guess the grade of the coin and then take it to a national network of PCGS Dealers who, which an officially sanctioned Sharpie pen, write the true grade on the label. The owner's grade would be recorded and sent back to PCGS and after a sufficient number of submissions (rumor is the minimum number was 126), those who scored greater than 94% in agreement with PCGS would be offered a grader job.*
I have been sworn to secrecy not to divulge the outcome of the project.
*If you scored less 23% in agreement with PCGS, you were required to become a philatelist.

Oh, I do like that @astrorat @Lakesammman!
Ink-redible!
Lucky number 8 I like it who knew Lakesammman was a secret agent 😊

Interesting, I like the information shared !!!
photo editing can take many things away
Must admit, it's easier to believe the photo editor forgot to remove the 1 in "S$1" than it is to believe the 1 just happened to work that one time.....
