The above thread has link to:

Which has a page about the dimes.

I believe the current issue of "Coin World" has an article about the silver recovery that expands upon the linked remarks in Hemispherical's post. Perhaps someone with an issue at hand can confirm?
Thanks for looking this up. I found a number of websites that look very similar to this, all with that Home Shopping Network "CALL NOW ONLY 99 REMAINING!!!!" kind of feel. I'm not totally comfortable buying from those. I was hoping some coins might have made their way into regular numismatic channels.

Did you try and PM anybody in that thread? Or make a post in it to bring it to the top and you’ll probably get responses.
I know some half dimes were recovered. I was waiting to hear about those.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Interesting, thanks for sharing !!!
Very cool.
Maybe affordable for us "minnows"?
That would be interesting to see what silver coinage was recovered.

I'm hoping too @savitale.
I had an unpleasant experience getting a certain marketing firm to stop their constant calls to buy S.S. Central America coins.

Best off to wait and buy it third-party at a discount down the road, as I am sure they'll want way too much for these out of the gate.... Keep in mind, there's a lot of them.
So, this thread got me to go looking to see if there were any around. I went to eBay and stumbled into someone selling 3 pinches for $250...
So, THIS THREAD COST ME $250!!!
Pics, please.
I have also had threads cost me money, LOL....

All I've got is the original listing:

Thanks! Pulled the pic from the listing.
I've wanted one since last year. Figured it was an inexpensive SS Central America souvenir for us poor people. LOL. I was waiting for the price to come down, but people still want $150 for the dang things. So 3@$250 is better than 1@$150 I guess. LOL
BUT THAT'S STILL $250 I WASN'T PLANNING TO SPEND BEFORE THIS THREAD!
@jmlanzaf Is it supposed to be a pinch of gold or silver? Coin Facts for 671486 has the metal as silver.
Typo?
Edit: Found number 673030 as pinch of gold; metal = gold.
Sell two for $125 each and you make out like a bandit.
If I can pull that off, I will forgive this thread.
Is there a standard weight for a "pinch" of gold?
Edit: I like the dime presentation the OP shows.
Hopefully they flood the market and the prices get reasonable.

Some of the slabs have 1.5g.

There's this. The price has come down to $100 per pinch.
How much is the "pinch" really worth ? $10 ?
If it is in the range of a gram to 1.5 gram, that's about 1/30th of an ounce up to about 1/20th of an ounce. So, between about $45 and $65
