Looks like some pricing is starting to emerge. Comparing to market prices for the older Gold Foil coins, that pinch of gold must be very valuable when combined with an 1857-S $20... This is from UniversalCoin.com, which was linked in an email I got this morning from PCGS.

no ship of fools. these coins are very popular. the marketing is brilliant. the coins from the first group certainly have not crashed
