My twin spotted a 1964-D MS-65 Kennedy halve at one of the local antique shops today and we looked it over and sure enough it was a DDO. Doubling on WE TRUST north to south. Split serrifs on the tail of the 9 & 6.

    Nice. Did you check to see if by chance it has a TrueView?

    Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

    I honestly want to get it dipped. The toning is very distasteful lol

    Thanks, my brother spotted it first so it's his coin , but still a pretty cool find.

    I have not, the coins there are usually from the same gentleman and I've never picked up one that has had a true view

    Great work! Something very satisfying about picking an unmarked variety in slab. All my hunts start with pcgs slabbed coins, then ats, then raw.
    My favorite picks are in unmarked Pcgs holders. It is hard to go wrong with pregraded material.

    I agree! Me and my twin have cherry picked a few unmarked varietys from this place over the past year. It's a fun hunt

    Sweet pick!! I love cherrypicking unattributed varieties in PCGS and NGC holder. My best so far is a 1938-D/S (the D/D/D/S to be more specific) Buffalo in a MS-67 no line fatty NGC holder. That one is staying right here in my collection. Typically the other cherrypicks get sold and the funds used to buy other coins for my collection. :)

    @dagingerbeasttt ... Nice find... Now see if you can spot an AH Kennedy... ;)
    @jtlee321 ....That D/D/D/S is a great find... I also have one...unattributed....Cheers, RickO

    Seriously undervalued IMHO.

    How come all the new and newish posters can't bring real DDs to the forum like DangerBeast (or whatever that crazy name is :D ) ?

    I guess it shows the difference between people who want to learn and those who just want answers.
