It appears to be Weinmans initial w on the left side of the R in LIBERTY, any thoughts on this.

You beat me to it -
I was going to post: Numismatic pareidolia, plain and simple.

where is the "D"
Upside down mine looks like the initial pretty cool Paredolia though
@diamond2020 Did you find the wings?
Too much deterioration
Where? Can you point it out to me? Not sure I see it.
I didn't know what pareidolia was....so I looked it up. And yep....that's what this is.
My wife does this with clouds as we are driving.
Did the "2/1" suffer the same pareidoliactic fate?
I found them!

Lol There is a 1 there, I just have to work on my photo skills
Alrighty then lol
Sometime it is good to look for what is there and enjoy versus looking for something that isn’t there and have no joy.
Thank you for that advise, I will not only use that advise for my coins, but in other areas in my life also. Thank you Hemispherical
That is NOT a 2/1
The 'initial' is a surface anomaly, not a mint product....as Fred W. said - pareidolia... I also agree with @jmlanzaf.... I do not see the 2/1.... Cheers, RickO
