Buffalo Numismatic Association monthly coin show. Brief report.
Buffalo is a little over a 3 hour trip.
My friend is a Sabres fan and it's the closest NHL town so we try to get to a few games a year.
We also attend a few coin shows a year together and saw that the Buffalo Numismatic Association monthly coin show was conveniently scheduled the same day as the hockey game we were going to see.
One of my brothers lives in the area too and after making several trips over the years, it's safe to say the people of Western New York are the salt of the earth. Interacting with everyone at BNA show reaffirms it.
Attending this show was a Iast minute thought so I was not seriously prepared. I should have been.
It seemed that every dealer went out of their way to have variety of Type at their tables.
High end, low end, slabbed and raw.
The show was a little bigger than I expected but perfect for a small one day show.
I'm not a social guy but I was so happy to meet and have a brief chat with some awesome forum members.
They included @StrikeOutXXX , @ajaan , @Vbowling299 and @coindeuce .
A special thank you to @StrikeOutXXX for expecting me and making me feel welcome.
I only made a few small purchases and I did pick up this Washington Quarter from him for my set.
After noon we left the show and headed downtown.
When in Rome.....
Then to the hockey game.
Out the door at 7:00 am, home by midnight.
Thanks for reading my report.

@sparky64 Thanks for your report. You got coin, food, and sports. What could be bettet? You got that, too, a beer!
Nice report Mark. I'm glad you had a nice time.
I must say though, those wings don't look very hot !
Thanks for stopping by! Always nice to meet up with fellow members and put a name to a face!
It was nice to meet you too, Mark and glad you found something for your collection.
Buffalo isn't exactly the hub of numismatics, but we have a few small to medium sized shows around and stay as active as we can. We don't get a lot of visiting forum members without a local connection somehow, so always nice meeting more!

Nice report.... the wings looked good... not sure how spicy they were though...that would require being there.....The beer looked very good...(and I am not much of a beer drinker)...From the picture, I would judge it to be a busy, local show...I sure miss those... Cheers, RickO
Thanks for introducing yourself Mark. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. And my wisecrack about the Sabres only stems from being a loyal lifetime Rangers fan.
