I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
When you checked Variety Vista, which one did you think it matched? It's always best to post what type you think and why. Then you can get specific confirmation of feedback.
You are checking the sites first and not just relying on us to do all the research on your pocket change, right.
But I make a lot of mistakes from two dimensional pics.
Buy a few authenticated slabbed RPM's and doubled dies.
They exhibit certain characteristics that don't differ all that much. An RPM is an RPM no matter the date or series.
Doubled dies are a bit more problematic but same in theory.
Once you understand what to look for in the actual minting process that creates the variety... you have the knowledge to look at most series and pick out an RPM or DDO

Looks like an "S" to me.

“S” and pic is too blurry to see a RPM.
Listing of RPMs: http://varietyvista.com/02b LC RPMs Vol 2/RPMs 1969S.htm
Edit:
Original OP title was asking if the MM was an “8”.
Title changed to: “1969 S 1 Cent is this an RPM ?”

It appears to be a slightly damaged (PMD) mint mark.... Cheers, RickO
I don't see it.
