I'm Excited! My New SLQ T1

I just upgraded my 1917 T1 SLQ in my 20th Century type Set. While many/most collectors prefer attractive toning, which demonstrates "originality", I believe there's a large number of collectors who actually prefer untoned coins for their 20th century silver. Regardless, my new coin has flashing luster, a super strong strike (even the nipple shows), and the surfaces appear impeccably preserved. PCGS pop is 43.
A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!

Beautiful coin, congrats!
It's bright. And so are you for not needing toning to appreciate it.
Absolutely beautiful. Congrats.
@winesteven She’s a very pretty lady and I can see the luster through a slab in a pic. Congrats that is a very nice pick!
Wow, great choice example!

Very attractive piece. Congratulations.
Beautiful coin. More experienced members may want to chime in, but luster of that quality is something I rarely see on a 17 T1. Awesome.
She is purdy. A real keeper there.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Very nice!
Beautiful coin!! I love the look of clean white silver.

That's ONE VOLUPTUOUS lady!
Is should be a nice coin though those photos are overexposed.
It's a nice coin but not original skinned white since it was once toned.
If you look at the reverse you'll see dip residue that wasn't rinsed properly starting to turn light brown.
On UNITED and AM in America along with the top of the eagles wing tip feathers.
Something you need to keep an eye on as if it darkens you might need to have it re-dipped and properly neutralized using a diluted lesser strength dip.
Looks like the reverse has some "ghosting" of the obverse, ala Lincoln cent ghosting. But do like the coin.
Great looking coin!
Great coin, congrats
The ultimate in originality is to look like it was just minted.
Nice coin.
This is very dangerous statement, regardless of your preference for white or toned coins.
"The ultimate in originality is to look like it was just minted." I realize that many people accept and believe this to be true. Which explains why so many original toned coins have been destroyed.
Perhaps this statement is more accurate:
The ultimate in originality is for the surfaces of a coin to remain untouched, and not exposed to chemicals that remove any medal from their surface. In addition, the coin surfaces would retain nearly full original luster. This statement would include white and lightly toned coins.
I realize that a light dip done properly can be undetectable.
