I had to ask...

I was wondering if over here, you card folks get tons of newbie posts like this, usually with super zoom pics:Check out this rare error! It is autographed even! How much is it worth?!?
Over in the US coin forum we are inundated with posts of coins run over in parking lots or from the garbage disposal, and the author thinks they are going to be rich.
Do you encounter similar phenomena?

Good question....
I've been a member at the CU forums for a few years. The answer
to that question is NO !!!!! And if you think it is bad here, go to
COIN TALK or COIN COMMUNITY. At these two it is multiplied by
a factor of 10. Wanna fix the situation?? Erase every related video
on YOU TUBE. I don't know what the answer is, because the only
way to learn is to ask. Hopefully someone here has a way to resolve
this issue.
That book cover is simply wonderful, remarkably well done!
Ripped that photo for my photo library!
Sometimes, the questions are legitimate, from people who truly are trying to learn. That being said, when answers are given and instructional resources provided, and the questioner continues to pursue trash coins that are obvious damage... well, then it becomes a case of 'refusal to learn'. I dont mind answering questions as long as the new poster is willing to help themselves. If they post stuff like this and then a week later say the bought a book and have been studying an are learning then great!!!! But most seem like they post pictures and either argue we are all wrong or just never respond or just keep posting new pictures of "error" coins
HAPPY COLLECTING
They say, in the card forum, they do not really have this problem.
Although someone mentioned card shop owners have to frequently break the news to folks that 80s-90s cards are mostly worthless.
I laughed so hard making this thread.

The card is a 'peeled lamination variety".
