Remember that airlines will be juggling planes to replace the Boeing planes taken out of service, so if you have any travel plans in the near future recheck your seat assignments which may have been changed.

This will cause some temporary chaos... Having been in the aerospace industry for many years, I can tell you it is nothing compared to the chaos at Boeing..... Cheers, RickO

Boeings existence might be at stake if it is "their fault"
However, AB could be next......who knows what Aircraft we will fly on then?
    perhaps made by the PRoC???
BUT, to those of you who have the jitters now think about this: The pilots and crew want to come home also!

Flying still much safer than driving. Putting Boeing out of business for this is a BAD IDEA unless there is institutionalized negligence. Hopefully APN can comment on this (probably not allowed to though).

Anyone noticed the two planes that went down were piloted by “3rd world country” pilots?

I’ve yet to hear/see any EU, USA or Canadian pilots crashing any of the BA planes :o

So far, Southwest & American are the only US carriers that operate these aircraft.

Planes of various types (including many airliners) have been grounded many times before. Boeing will figure it out and the 5,000 737 Max aircraft still on order will eventually be delivered and operate safely for many decades. It's just a bump in the road.

    United also.

    You're right:

    Southwest - 34 planes
    American - 24 planes
    United - 14 planes
