There is a police forensic show in the evening and with what they can do now, eventually you'll probably be caught no matter how careful you are. The only folks who have a chance are those with no previous record who commit a random crime out of state and far away from a camera. Scary!

You need to check everything you buy used! I almost got in big trouble in my late High School days because of a car I just bought. The day after I bought it I got pulled over. The bottom of the dash under the windshield had several pot buds wedged down there. Good thing I had my Bill of Sale with me as those were the times when they busted chops!
