These ones in high grade are often pretty lustrous

One good Buffalo deserves another couple. A favorite series.

PCGS Definition:

lustre
Alternate form of luster.
The more luster for my lustrous appetite. 😋
Some beautiful luster bombs here... However, @illini420... That '38D Buff is a show stopper.... WOW!! Cheers, RickO

This one is dripping in luster even for 1901-S standards

I guess it's just the photos, but some of the coins above don't come across as luster bombs, though they are all nice.
Here is an 1820 cent that leaves luster drops on the floor:

I love the large cent, it has great luster for a BN coin that is 199 years old. 👍
Love those buffalo nickels.

@Paradisefound your buffalo your buffalo is so beautiful 😍👍
Gold, silver and copper. Sorry for old pics.
@matt_dac I have a 1904 half eagle too 👍 in Ms 62
Lower grade than yours
@ElmerFusterpuck that is a beautiful example!
It's odd that the most lustrous part of the coin often photograph as black.
Anyone know why?
Not that I mind, I think PCGS does a great job on TrueViews
Anyway...This is the one I'd use as a signal mirror if I had to

@winesteven Very nice! Can we see the reverse?
Here's the reverse of the above 1936 Buff PR67+ PCGS w/CAC. Any marks or distractions you see on the reverse are not on the coin, and not on the holder, but just reflections in the photo. Believe it or not, the coin in hand is even more lustrous than these photos - it's pure "liquid silver" (yes, I know it’s made with copper and nickel only, with no silver). My guess is that this must have been one of the very first ones pressed from brand new polished dies.
