I will be making the trek up to the Niagara Frontier this weekend and was considering dropping in on this show.
Has anyone here been to this show?
Any thoughts, tips or advice?
Thanks.

As a member of the club. I go to it every month. A nice mixture of dealers, mainly US coins but usually one or two who specialize in world coins. There is a coin auction at 2pm. I have the auction list if you are interested. There is also a very active kids corner for YNs at 1pm. Need more info? Just PM me.

That is my monthly show - have had a table there for about 5 years.

There are a few folks there who travel the larger shows, down to local folks who don't do much more than this show. You will likely see $50,000 coins down to 5/$1 bins. Many of the dealers have shops from Buffalo to Erie, about half the dealers are just weekend dealers with no shops. As Don said, 1 pretty much all World Coin guy, a few of us who carry several boxes of world coins. There is one dealer who has had his Dollar Error Coins in magazines who has probably thousands of mid-minor errors with him. A few who are mostly proof/mint sets and modern stuff, and one guy I can think of who is mostly Canadian. One guy who is primarily currency. Then 15 or so other dealers with a mix of everything. Many have huge binders of tokens. If you have any nice vintage Hobo Nickels to sell, probably the biggest Hobo guy in the US sets up here, so bring those to possibly sell 8-)

Every month there is usually a table or two from the waiting list or a dealer in town for the weekend who sets up as the wildcard.

If you are looking for something specific, or have a general collecting area, send me a PM, I'll msg the guy at the table next to me as he owns the biggest shop around, but only brings ooh... about 1M of inventory, but it changes every month, I'll see if he can bring anything you might be looking for.

Doors open at 10:00 to the public, from 10-12 it's usually pretty steady and a decent crowd. 12-2 it's a little quieter and things slow down a bit. 2:00 when the auction starts, some dealers start packing up. By 3:00 many dealers are gone or almost packed.

Sounds interesting. In which snow drift is this held -- or does it move about depending on where the big blowers put the week's snow?

Sounds like fun, I'll have to make the trip up for that. Our club is having a show in Jamestown NY on March 24, if anyone from that area is interested. Free admission.

Im set up right inside the front door and bring a mix of US Type a really small smattering of world and some bullion. Great show for me and lots of activity both buying and selling! definitely has several dealers across all sorts of areas and price ranges. I would call it worth it! also the big show in April in Hamburg, NY is same club just more dealers in a bigger location.
    say hi if you come!
