They always seem to arrive sealed in a plastic bag. Just wondering do you leave it sealed, or cut it out?

Depending on who the seller is and condition, I'd leave it sealed. My only concern should be authenticity !!!
I leave it sealed as long as it’s not a bulky bag that’s too big for the piece.

If it is recognized bullion bars or coins always leave sealed, if it is not recognized it does not matter if it is sealed or not you will most likely lose money when reselling to major bullion buyers. as mentioned above if it is a third party bar, question the authenticity. Always try to buy recognized unless of course you are a niche collector speculating on that market. With all coins and bullion try to handle as little as possible, any marks or damage hurt resale.

Thanks everyone! The bars / pieces I have are from Yeager's Poured Silver (great stuff) that come sealed in plastic... I know some cut it out, some don't.. thanks for the input
Some plastic is not safe for long-term storage
Did ya play with yer Star Wars figures, or leave 'em in the blister pack?

RCM 10 oz silver bars are sealed in plastic by the mint. Best to keep them that way.

I have gotten stuff from Yeager's, they just heat seal it in ziplock style plastic. I cut those out immediately.
RCM bars, those are different, I leave them in the plastic. Older Maples I also leave in the plastic..

If yer silver is shaped like a toy,
Yer missing the point if ya don't play with it and let yer friends hold it.
IMO. it's worth the extra dollar two an ounce you (or your heirs, most likely) might get for it still in the original package.

I just had to liberate this one so I could handle it!
Liberate might be the order of the day if caught with that one.
Open, play pirate with the stack, enjoy. Suckers otherwise.
If purchased new, I leave them sealed in clear plastic they arrive in.... just to keep them from casual dings and rub. If raw, they stay raw... Cheers, RickO
